LookAnime Privacy Policy

This policy explains what LookAnime (the “app”) does with your information. The app has no user accounts and no sign-in. You can use every feature without telling us who you are.
What we do not do
- We do not ask for, or store, your name, email address, phone number or any other account identifier.
- We do not use analytics or crash-reporting SDKs.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not request access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos or files.

We do not receive your advertising ID ourselves — it is handled inside Google’s advertising SDK. We never receive your payment details: Google Play processes all transactions and only tells the app whether a purchase is active.
Information kept only on your device
Your bookmarks, watch history and playback preferences are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded to us or to anyone else. They are not backed up to our servers and we cannot read them. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it.
Advertising and your choices
LookAnime shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before personalised ads are shown, using Google’s User Messaging Platform. You can change that decision at any time from the privacy options entry inside the app.
Wherever you are, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings › Google › Ads on your Android device, which stops the current ID from being linked to future ad requests. How Google uses data from apps that use its services is described in Google’s policy.
Purchases
In-app purchases are handled entirely by Google Play Billing. The app receives only the entitlement state (whether a purchase is active). Refunds, payment methods and billing records are managed by Google Play, under Google’s privacy policy.
Content
LookAnime is a catalogue and player front end. Titles, artwork, descriptions and video streams are retrieved from third-party sources and are not hosted by us. Opening a stream may cause your device to connect directly to those third parties, whose own privacy practices apply and are outside our control.
Children
LookAnime is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, contact us and we will address it.
Data retention and deletion
We operate no user database, so there is no account for us to delete. To remove everything the app has stored, uninstall it or clear its storage from Android settings. To reset advertising data, use the advertising ID controls described above. Server request logs are retained only for the short period our hosting provider keeps them for operational and abuse-prevention purposes.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page will be updated. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the revised policy.
